Overall this is a fairly simple and straight-forward song. It's built
around the following four chords:

During the opening, the guitar is playing a simple punctuation to the
bass line using only the top three notes of the Bb and Eb chords with
upstrokes. As the lyrics come in the full chords are used. Listen for
yourself; it'll make perfect sense when you hear it. Additionally, during
the verses these chords include some noodling & arpeggiation. Play
whatever sounds good to you.
During the chorus the guitar plays the following arpeggiated riff:
"All of us get lost in the darkness..."

For the second part of the chorus, the last few notes of the above
riff are dropped in favor of picking up the following chords, which
repeat for the next section:
"Turn around and walk the razor's edge..."

The solo is very melodic with no fast picking. I haven't bothered to
notate the meter, but the notes are all there. Just play along with
the CD and the rythm will become apparent. It sounds like Alex is
cranked in the studio so he gets a lot of feedback and other harmonics
that I haven't notated here.
